Dear Taylor,

I just wanted to say thanks again for taking our family to Red Robin tonight. I know you've been trying to eat healthier lately, so I know that wasn't an ideal dinner locaish. It was really sweet to watch you politely eat your chicken wrap and french onion soup while I scarfed down my gi-normous guacamole burger, slurped up my rasp-lemonade, and ate my weight in steak fries and ranch. I loved you more with every fry.

Love,
Anne

first of all I love that you abbreviate words like location, and second I love that Tay took you to Red Robin. What a guy! That really must have been a sacrifice for him. Oh and third...bottomless steak fries actually sound pretty good...and its 9 am.

Can I just say how much I love their bottomless plate of fries. See, my hubby gets the fries and fish and I get a healthy salad and then I eat my fill of his fried goods! Yum-O!

Ok, I laughed so hard because in our house this would be no such sacrifice for my spouse, it would be a "step up" from the carnage called cooking in this house. The other night he called home and I told him I had baked chicken, fresh corn on the cob, mashed potatos, and fresh baked bread. His reply was, and so what's for dinner?:) Now, what I didn't tell you was that the chicken was a rotisserie from Albertsons, the potatos Idahoan instant, the corn had been locked in your dad's office over the weekend and he brought it over because he thought it might still be good, and the bread was from Albertsons. So yeah, get my drift?

That is too deja vu! WE went to Red Robin last night as well! Yum, yum, yum. (I bet Kate is thinking gag, gag, gag.) I called Jeff up on the phone and said, "Do you want to go to Red Robin tonight?" and he complied, later telling me that my tone of voice at this "question" told him he better not answer with a "not really." I'm guessing you enjoyed your meal as much as I did.

I am so jealous! No Red Robin in Nova Scotia. That was one of my favorite places to eat in Provo. I love the Western Burger with crispy onion strips and bacon! Last time we were in Provo I was pregnant with Delia and I craved Red Robin - we would eat there twice a month! I am trying to eat healthier as well, but sometimes I still need a big burger!

Jill, I think your dinner sounds fabulous. Nothing wrong with a chicken from Albertson's. Way to use your resources!
