Personalized thank-you postcards

We made some really fun thank-you notes after Blaine's pirate party this year, and I think we'll make it a tradition.  It's super simple, but makes it extra fun for both the sender and recipient of the note.
Here's what you do:

First, make sure to snap a photo of the birthday boy or girl with each party guest before they leave.

Next, print the photos out--size 4x6 on either photo paper or cardstock (mine are the latter).

Finally, transform the backs of the photos into postcards.  Draw a line using a straight edge, have your child dictate or write a personal message to each child on the left side, and fill out the address on the right.  Don't forget the postcard stamp!

So fun, right?  I was thrilled with how they turned out and I'm hopeful that this tradition will help to instill in my children the importance of expressing gratitude.

Have a beautiful weekend!
