Give me the sun, give me the SUMMER!
Give me vespa rides to the Provo Freedom Festival. Give me late-night outings to Denny's (I'm not ashamed--that Grand Slam was AMAZING!) Give me a splendid hike up Rock Canyon with my two handsome boys. Give me a ripe, juicy, perfectly-textured red plum. Give me a pool party with Joan, Brandon, and James. (How gosh darn cute are James and Blaine?)
Give me a little boy who delights in morning walks with his mama, playing in the rocks outside his apartment, and splashing in any pool he can find (nice g-ride swimmy suit, Blainey...).
Give me a coke "squishee" from 7-11 (thanks, Simpsons!) to cool me down and temper my headache. Give me a good ol' grilled burger at Gram's on the 4th of July. Give me patriotic parades, flags, and fireworks! (Shucks--as if my little camera can do the Stadium of Fire any justice whatsoever!)
Better yet, give me a cozy wozy bed on Grandma Tillie's front lawn on which to snuggily watch those fireworks.
And give me a superhandsome man to soak in all that sunshine and summertime with.

Anne- What a fun post, and what a great life you have indeed! LOVED the picture of Blaine and Jimmy (uh...you can tell which one lives in Arizona huh?)And I LOVED the picture of Grandma on the cozy wozy bed! I can just hear her say, "now , I will never get back up off this ground! You will have to lift me back up" Love it. Thanks for sharin the love, and enjoy all of those great people you get to be around. My loved ones list is pretty bleak around Texas...so good on ya for recognizing the bliss of "happy, loved one filled" life!

Ummm, Yes! I loved your cute pictures and the new fun post! Your hair is getting so long and gorgeous. I am really, actually, jealous of it. Mostly just that it always looks so cute! I am so sad to be living way in the heck up here, cause now I'm not close to you! I am really bummed out about it! Really bummed out! Ah, Anne, once again, you dazzle with your delightful collection of words and photos. This post is almost as good as summer itself...and in some places where it gets stiflingly hot and suffocatingly humid, I'd say this post is actually better. This makes me miss Provo and all its many splendors! (you being one of them :)

Well look at you having the perfect 4th of July ever! Blaine is adorable! Loved the swim trunks! We had a good one too. A day at the lake with good friends and family, a BBQ, swimming on the dock, kneeboarding, and fireworks on the lake!
