Decoration Collaboration

So I'm making a mental list of holiday decorations. Mapping out where the Christmas tree will go, deciding where to put my paper whites, selecting locations for my various wreaths. I'm still unsure exactly what I want for the mantel, though. And heaven knows that when Santa gets down my chimney the first thing he's going to do is turn around to gaze at my mantel decor, so it's gotta be good. So I've been thinking. Do you want to do an idea share here at Anne with an E?? I'm thinking it could be like this: you take pictures of your own flippin' sweet holiday decor and bookmark great ideas online. Then you email me your pictures and/or links and I'll post them all. I'm thinking we'll do the big post the first week of December so you can get ideas from each other and carry them out in time for Christmas (am I not being diverse enough? Please feel free to send decor ideas for whatever holiday you celebrate in December!).

Here's your first inspiration. I have been on the hunt for long knit stockings for about 2 years. The only thing worse than not being able to find what you want? Finding what you want and then seeing the outrageous price tag. Looks like someone needs to learn how to knit. Anyway, I love this.

So what do you think? Will you do it? I, for one, am struggling on the mantel front. Help a sista out. I think this will be a fun idea share. So let's make it happen, people! Let's get the creative juices flowing.
