Following her lead

I've been thinking a lot lately about my performance in the mothering category. It is, after all, the first and most important part in this whole stay-at-home gig. More profound
(maybe)
(hopefully)
(cross your fingers)
thoughts tomorrow. For now, read someone else's profound thoughts on the subject. I LOVE.

Oh gosh...thanks Anne, for all the blog love. I didn't even see these posts until today. I have been sick...again. You know me.

Anyway, I am just so proud of you for how great all of your Christmas sewing projects turned out! All by yourself, with no pattern! Good job. I'll email you a cute photo of Blaine sitting in a pile of change. super funny. Thanks for playing sewing with me. Sometimes you just need someone to show you a few tricks and have a little practice and away you go. You need to give yourself more credit!

Also, I am not sure that anyone should be following my lead, but thanks ;)

Loved the pic of Blaine with a real blender? The look on his face says it all...."he he he...look at me with a blender...pretty cool eh?

I just adored Danielle's post as well, makes you look at things a bit different. Like instead of getting annoyed when Kiwi wouldn't go to sleep last night, I just thought of it as some special alone time we were having, so thanks to Danielle for that....I'm sure Kiwi thanks her for it too :)
